Become a Mentor with Impact Ministries Mentoring is a developmental partnership through which one person shares knowledge, skills, information and perspective to foster the personal and professional growth of someone else.
“Mentoring is to support and encourage people in managing their own learning in order that they may maximize their potential, develop skills, improve their performance and become the person God desires them to be.”
We aim to connect men and women with independent mentors who can offer advice and guidance about the issues important to them. Mentors can help with self development, suggest opportunities and empower mentees to make their decisions and turn them into action steps.

Types of Mentoring
Informal-This is what most people think of when they think of mentoring: a spontaneous, casual relationship where a senior person takes a junior person “under his or her wing” and provides long-term guidance and counsel. A workshop is given for training.
Impact mentoring programs are bible based and designed to create a culture that proactively supports the development of relationship with God and His Word.
Mentors are generally matched with mentees to support specific goals such as spiritual or personal growth, life skills, relationship insight, or goal setting.
Impacts mentoring
The issues discussed will vary depending upon the issues mentees are facing. Issues between Impact mentor and mentee are confidential.
The mentee must take the initiative to do the leg work in assignments given. Final responsibility for actions taken from mentoring lies with the mentee.
